Data licence

What you may do with the rows a tool returns, and with the figures published on this site. Not legal advice, and it cannot override the terms of the site a tool read.

Rows you generate yourself

You run the tool, the output is yours. I claim no ownership and no licence over it, I place no restriction on your use of it, and since I never receive it I could not enforce one if I wanted to. The limits on what you may do with it come from the source site's terms, from database rights, and from data-protection law - not from me.

Figures published on this site

The aggregate numbers on the free data pages are free to reuse, including commercially, with attribution to Lowland Data and a link to the page they came from. Each of those pages carries the exact citation line to copy, and the JSON beside it carries the same numbers.

The long-run series

The accumulated series are not published and are not for sale yet. When a series is sold, it will be under a written licence agreed in advance, naming the coverage, the period, the update cadence and the permitted redistribution - not under this page.

A limit worth stating

A dataset built by reading a marketplace can attract the EU sui generis database right of that marketplace, independently of whether the pages were public. That is a real constraint on resale, it is why the series above are described rather than distributed, and it is why I would rather discuss a specific use than sell a generic download.
