Lowland Data is one person: Adrien, a Belgian software developer. By day I build PHP and TypeScript systems; evenings and weekends I build and maintain this catalogue.

It started with a simple observation: most scraping tools treat personal data as a feature. Names, contact details, seller profiles - harvested by default, GDPR left as the buyer's problem. I wanted the opposite: commercial data with the personal layer structurally removed, so the output is safe to store and share without a compliance review.

Checked rather than trusted

That is not a slogan, it is the operating rule. The method page explains the whitelist mechanism and the poison test that enforces it on every build. The status pages publish every tool's record, failures included. The incident postmortems are written up in full - what broke, who it affected, and what changed so it cannot recur the same way.

Nothing on this site is a figure I typed in. Prices come from the live store, coverage is counted from the files on disk, and success rates come from the platform's own run records. Where a number cannot be measured, the page says so instead of estimating.

One person, and what that means

There is no team, no support rota and no service level agreement - the terms say so plainly rather than burying it. What you get instead is a direct line to the person who wrote the code, and a published record you can check before committing to anything.
