Asking prices are never republished. A fair-value answer - "this Golf is €1,800 over the going rate for its year and mileage" - cannot be computed from one day of listings, only from a history somebody started keeping.

| Lifecycle | A listing seen one day and gone the next has sold, expired or been withdrawn. Comparing consecutive days gives time-on-market and whether the price moved before it went. |

What it cannot tell you
Asking prices, not sale prices. A disappearance is a proxy for a sale and conflates sold, expired and withdrawn; nothing observable from outside separates them. AutoScout24 and mobile.de are not included: both refuse automated access and forbid it in their terms.
